hi , i ordered up an electric mistress deluxe pedal the other day and arrived yesterday :D i'll need to reorginise my pedal board but thats not a problem , got the pedal rigged up and messed around with it for a wee hour or so and a love the different effect and sounds from this flanging unit , you can get that floyd sound (obviously) and also zappa's sound from joe's garage and a few other albums from around that time , i'll do some more fiddling with it today , see what else i can find that floats my boat  cheers
Alan

Congrats on your new pedal Alan, the Electric Mistress is one of the best pedals that you can put in your signal chain. If you have a phase shifter or another flanger and a digital delay, try this:Set one flanger or the phase shifter on a fairly fast speed and a low intensity sweep, set the second on a slow sweep with a bit more intensity in the signal strength then feed it into your delay that's set on a tape echo setting. If you used a distorted or overdriven signal and feed it into this set up you'll get the House Burning Down effect that Jimi got on Electric Ladyland. It may take a bit of tweaking but when you hit the sweet spot you've hit sonic Nirvana.

Sounds like a groovy pedal Alan, I'll have to get round to your place soon mate. How's the black strat project coming along?
