I was going to change my current Avatar but in my user control panel it says that "Avatar functionality is disabled", is that for everybody?

What's also weird is that I currently have an Avatar displaying, it is one of the selectable ones that were supplied by the forum ages ago. I thought if I remove it I may not be able to get one back up, so if I remove it can I then upload my own or will I then be stuck with none at all?

I notice a lot of other member have their own custom pics.

I have the same question. My avatars are set to work, too. But I get the same message.

Answer:

It is up to the board administrator to enable avatars and to choose the way in which avatars can be made available. If you are unable to use avatars, contact a board administrator and ask them for their reasons.

I sent an email to the administrator but haven't heard back yet.
Any enablement yet for your avatar?

Did I do something wrong that it was turned off for me?

Hi I've also emailed admin to find out what needs to be done.
