I placed a substantial order for some goodies from Musician's Friend to be sent to Afghanistan to help a young Marine el-tee keep his sanity during his tour there.

(nothing for myself though -- sorry)

I never bothered to go out - even here the crowds were insane. I printed out the 15% off a single item coupon from GC, but it ended up in the Recycle bin.

Nothing for me, but I'm going amp shopping with the singer/rhythm guitarist in my band. She wants a Vox.

My local Fender dealer always has great deals -- no need to purchase on Black Friday. The only purchase I made was on Cyber Monday. Best Buy has a bunch of guitar parts on sale so I picked up a Seymour Duncan SSL-2 for $18 by using a couple of reward certificates I had for prior purchases. The certificates were worth $25 and the pickup was on sale for $40.. So, after tax, I got it for $18 out of pocket. Now, I just need the SSL-6 and SSL-3 to complete the set for my project...

I'm hoping for some good sales between now and Christmas...

Can't get me to go anywhere near a mall on Black Friday. Let the little old blue-haired grannies fight it out with each other. But I did buy some new strings, and an amp cover for my Blues Jr.
