Good Morning.....

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and a good start to the weekend. I ended up plaing 18 holes of golf yesterday - a bit cool at 52 degreees but I will take what I can get at the end of November....looks like snow today.

I got an early present this year (from myself), a Digitch Jam Man. I am having a great time with it....

I hope you all have a music filled day and don't forget to rip out some blues!

Beaubs

Mornin' y'all...I sat at home and practiced all day yesterday, and started breaking in an original Oxford speaker that was reconed by Tone Tubby with a hempcone,it's the speaker for my '62 Vibrolux...sounds great.
Today,I think I'll go to the music store and get a few needed mic booms and a Shure 57,have a great day!

Mornin' all,
Beautyful day out there, if I were a golfer this is one of those rare late November sunny, mild get out of the house days. So I'm taking my own advise and going to the park, about a mile each way, walk off some of the turkey.
Tonight will be spent blowing the dust off the Christmas sheet music.

'Tis the season,
John.E

Left NY area in the rain last Tuesday, and arrived Seattle in same. One day of sun yesterday and now back to the same old. Forecast tells me that it also awaits me on return back east on Monday. Oh well......

What'd they charge for the re-cone, Reb?

Goodmorning Beaubs and all. Chicago is under the weather so:

"Hey man, take a look out the window 'n' see what's happ'nin'
Hey man, it's rainin'
It's rainin' outside man
Aw, don't worry 'bout that
Everything's gonna be everything
We'll get into somethin' real nice you know
Sit back and groove on a rainy day
Yeah
Yeah I see what you mean brother, lay back and groove.

Rainy day, dream away
Ah let the sun take a holiday
Flowers bathe an' ah see the children play
Lay back and groove on a rainy day.

Well I can see a bunch of wet creatures, look at them on the run
The carnival traffic noise it sings the tune splashing up 'n'
Even the ducks can groove rain bathin' in the park side pool
And I'm leanin' out my window sill diggin' ev'rything
And ah and you too.

Rainy day, rain all day
Ain't no use in gettin' uptight
Just let it groove it's own way
Let it drain your worries away yeah
Lay back and groove on a rainy day hey
Lay back and dream on a rainy day."

Went out for Blues and Brews last night. Drank too much beer but heard a really good Blues band. A six piece band and during the second set they produced a 7th guy on a tenor sax. Then we went to another place that stayed open longer and they had a Scottish kilt wearing Folk / Heavy Metal band that was definietly different. A little hung this morning but no regrets.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

The recone was $90,not bad I thought,it should be an awesome speaker when it's broken in....sounds really good right now. I forgot to take pics,I was anxious to pop it in.
