I say with Garageband. They both sound very good. Garageband seemed to offer a little more compression gain that helped some of the subtle sounds come through.

Yes it did. Did you have a little ping pong tape echo? The other sounded more raw and live. Garageband sounded more studio. I like both really.

Good ear!! Yes, I was using a TC Electronics Flashback delay set on Tape echo.
