I've reviewed all the Star Club work that has ever been released. What is most apparent in the Star Club live recordings to me is how much better the band got during their time in Germany. Especially improved was Sir Paul's bass playing as he was still more or less a bass novice. The leather jacket image phase has almost been forgotten too.
