Tim I used to think like that. I still don't own a PedalTrain and likely never will.
Have a look at these. Battery powered boards that really cut down the onstage cable dilemma.

Very expensive. But they look nifty.


in my opinion that is way overpriced. the same thing can be done with a 12v drill battery and a voltage reducer for a power supply. the DC power will be clean naturally so you wont need any fancy line conditioners. that looks like a gimmick to me. it is a good idea though.
