One of my all time favorite slide players would have turned 65 today.I loved the Allman brothers band and all the stuff Duane did solo in the studio.What a huge loss to the music world.You will always be missed....Happy B-day Duane

Hey man,Duane's birthday is the 20th.....but thanks for remembering Skydog,he is my alltime favorite guitar player,at our gig Sat. night when it turned midnight,we announced it to the crowd,and got a huge response,then we played "Whippin' Post".....wail on Skydog!

It never ceases to amaze me that some folks have so much talent and know how that they manage to achieve greatness and ultimate fame in such a relatively short time. Happy belated birthday Skydog, although you only had 25 you became a guitar god and then some.
