I just wanted to try it, so I played Mary Had A Little Lamb on my high E. It wasn't too hard. You just have to move your lips to a certain position and mute strings with your chin. I will definitely be practicing this a bit more.

I think you've gone beyond the call of duty!

Nobody ever really played the guitar with their teeth, except maybe that wino from The Pogues.. :o

They just lifted the guitar to their mouths, then pulled off a few slurs with their fretting hand.. Give it up now, and give those gnashers a break - before they do..

Sat. night while we were playing "Voodoo Chile",my son pulled the behind the head move and then the playing with the teeth move...the crowd loves it...I just thought, after all the money I paid for braces when he was a kid,he better not be playing with his teeth!

I just use 9/42s. I tried this other trick I saw this metal band do too. He took his front 2 teeth and slid up and down the fat E during a solo. It made this really cool hollow sound.

I can and do play with my teeth and do not fake it with pull offs and hammer-ons nor did Jimi.If you look closely at the Hendrix Plays Berkley performance you can see clearly that he is picking with his teeth. It takes an awful lot of practice to do well but the audience reaction is well worth it.I was thinking about having a set of front teeth fashioned by Jim Dunlop lol.

Yes, I know. But the best performance from that concert is gone. I can't find it anywhere.

Just think every dirty little finger that has touched your guitar has left you a little gift. And now you have it on your teeth.  :P A Good quality mouth wash might be in order. :)

I don't care. I've licked the bottom of my shoe in public as a dare and made some cash. I didn't get sick.

I like the squeak my teeth put into it. It's weird but adds character.
