How old were they and how far out of tune was it?
If the answer to either of these questions isn't "unfathomably", something is seriously wrong.

Never heard of all the strings breaking at once. After the 1st string broke, I would have changed all the strings out anyways. Have you changed put on a new set yet? How are they fairing?

Again with this loser?

This kid just does not get it. He has been kicked off three times already, and keeps coming back.

Reported.....again.

What part of "you are not welcome here, get lost" do you not understand?

Nathan....In all my years of playing guitar I have never seen more than one string break on a guitar at any given time.If you are claiming they all broke at the same time, then I have to call you out and say that it is impossible.

It would be possible for an idiot to break all of them by trying to tune the guitar an octave high (the notes would read the same way on most electronic tuners).

Most people would figure it out when they cranked the first one way too tight and it snapped. But somehow I can picture the kid twisting and twisting and twisting the tuning pegs until they all snapped.

He got 6 of these, linked em together, then got a 7th one to crank the 6 others and did it that way. Did I mention it was powered by a 502 RAT motor out of a Chevelle?

There was once a guy who was sitting by an unlit fire, shivering and shaking from the cold.

He had a perfect campfire set up--paper under small kindling under larger kindling and some logs on top, surrounded by rocks to bank up the coals when the wood caught.

He repeatedly was trying to light a match, striking it against the box, pausing, then cursing, then striking again. This went on for quite a while.

Finally, another guy walked up and asked what the problem was; the guy with the matches said, "My fire won't light! This isn't working!"

The second guy said, "Are your matches good? Did they get wet or something?"

"No, they work fine. There's nothing wrong with them...in fact, this one in my hand lit perfectly a few minutes ago, but now it won't even spark anymore!"

If a person isn't able to understand the basic functions of life and human interaction, it might be best to leave them alone and let them shiver. They'll either learn how to act or they'll get cold and leave. Either way, don't waste your time and typing.

Trying to help this guy is as dumb as trying to light a fire with a spent match.

I disagree about this whole-heartedly.
Yes, the smileys are too much, but SuperKid is an intelligent, talented and resourceful guitar player and member of this forum.
His ability as a guitarist is phenomenal, especially considering his age. Check out his recordings--I would venture that he, even at his young age, is as good of a player as many Forumites, and better than some.
He also knows how to wire a stage, run a PA system during a working gig for an actual band, and how to build effects.
He's (mostly) respectful and humble in his posts, and has yet to make a claim he couldn't prove or back up.
The only thing he needs to do is to ignore FenderGuy/Missy Vaughan/Flaming Jackass, Inc. Or whatever his latest incarnation is this time and not let him get his goat.
