CF Martin & Co DARCO 9/42s that my local shop gave me for free. The have a much different ring than Ernie Ball 9/42s, although those will stay my main strings.

Buxom i have used Dunlop heavier core strings for about a year and they last through my Hendrix playing style. Before i was using these i was using Fender Bullets 10-46, Now i use Dunlop Heavier Core 10-52s and on my main guitar i use Dunlop Heavier Core 11-52s

Coincidently I just tried a new set of Martin 9-42s just yesterday on Blinker's new Tele and I didn't like the feel of them one bit.I found them very difficult to bend, much moreso than D'Addarios or GHS.In fact they felt more like 10s or even 11, they were so stiff. It's a pity because they sounded pretty good but that's no good if you can't play them.

No sorry I don't have any spare pickups but I do have a sad story involving vintage guitar parts. When we moved into our present house 18 years ago I had a box that a Peavey amp came in filled with vintage guitar parts etc. including the vibrato assembly from a '65 Strat and the original pot from a Vox Clyde McCoy wah.My wife saw the box placed outside the music room door and promptly assigned it to the garbage bin.It was partly my fault for not putting it way out of her reach as I knew that she was a compulsive cleaner.

I can bend them really well. You just need to break them in. They were stiff at first for me though.
