So do you think the 51 Tele was more progressive, or more conservative than the 57 Strat?

Just kidding...
Put away the flame-throwers!

Well, yes, it's a bit humorous, but have your really considered that
when Leo Fender designed the 51 Tele, it was pretty progressive back then, but when the 57 Strat made the scene, it made the 51 Tele seem rather conservative, it having only 2 pickups as opposed to the Strat's 3 pickups and the Strat had TREMELO to boot.... So by that time, the Strat was progressive. But by today's standards the Strat is a good conservative choice as is the Tele.

When the locomotive was invented, it seemed like a futuristic, progressive means of mass transportation.

Then much later came the bullet train which made the locomotive seem positively old fashioned and quite conservative.

And how slow is a bullet train compared to jet aircraft?

It's just like the Tele and the Strat.

There isn't a politician intelligent enough to even begin to rewrite the Constitution. It has been amended. Not always a great thing. How about we stop pissing on it and actually reading it as it was intended. Here's a concept, how about a little personal responsibility and maybe thinking about the consequences for our actions? Our modern ideals are what's destroying the entire planet. It's funny, no one even likes to vote in our elections, would you want 30% of the population determining what goes in the Constitution for the entire population of our country?

63supro, great post. You get an eye cookie

I've been looking at them. They're pretty cool. Problem is I just bought two new guitars and now I'm running out of space.
Here's original 63 Martinique Res O Glass. I actually just set it up for slide and used it at rehearsal last week. It sounds incredible through my Egnater.

A Conventional Diesel Electric Locomotive Has Consistently Moved more Freight Per tone mile over land than any other Mode of transportation on the planet to date. and I will add, at a much lesser cost per tone mile. 8)

Niki I totally agree that these people are fools. They demostrated at a funeral for an american soldier from my town. However, from some of your recent post you seem to have a problem with opinions you don't agree with. That is the difference between us. In my world you would be aloud your opinion in your world I would not. Somebody steal your favorite guitar pick or what? If I'm wrong I apologize in advance to you. :?

You couldn't be more wrong about me. And quite presumptuous about somebody you've never met.
