Jeffo...Yes you have a first amendment right...you do not however, have the right to go camping in public parks and staying for weeks on end...that is called sqauting and is against the law. Oh and those police were quite polite about the whole thing.

If people want to know why the economy is in the dumper still, go STRAIGHT TO 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and ask the idiot that lives there, why he keeps doing things to kill jobs.

This whole OWS is a bunch of old hippies trying to relive thier youth and moronic college pukes who are just now finding out that having a degree does NOT make you employable, it just gets you in the door...so if they are still without jobs, they might want to look inward, and NOT blame everyone around them.

I know this might sound harsh, but the truth usually is...

Ok I feel better now.

I appreciate their efforts, but I was working in Philadelphia trying to get home and because the were sitting on the Market Street Bridge during rush hour, it turned my 30 minute commute into two hours and I missed a deadline and lost a client. I'm not real happy. They have a right to protest, but no right to deny me a way to earn a living. I'm self employed. :?

The power hungry elite ruling class would love for you to believe that rights are granted by them instead of a creator. This way they can adjust them to be in their best interest. This is evident by the removal of the concept of a creator in our schools and society over the last 50 years. Someone needs to convince these misinformed people that when you punish the rich only the poor suffer.

To be honest, I think the constitution needs to be rewritten to suit our modern ideals. The people should also be able to vote on what goes in it. I also think the Patriot Act needs to be done away with. In the grand scheme of things, terrorists killing about 3,000 people wasn't very much. Not to say that those 3,000 didn't matter, but I think we overreacted, considering every potential threat is a potential terrorist threat. When the earthquack hit Virginia, a lot of people thought it was terrorism. I thought it was bullshit. Just my $0.02.

Really ? Obama for your information, inherited a huge mess from the Bush administartion, which included 2 wars that have almost bankrupted us, tax cuts for the rich, bank bailouts, etc,. That and the fact that the Republicans in Congress have made it personal to put Obama out of office before anything else. What does that tell you about our so called elected offcials, huh ? For the last 11 years, most of the CEO's of some of our major companies have elected to move american jobs overseas for lower paying labor, why? To save money and still pull in a profit at the American citizen's cost. Do you think them and the banks care about you and I ? Wake up and smell the roses junior, they're out to drive this country into 2 classes " The Rich & The Poor !" The Middle Class will soon become a thing of the past, especially if the Republicans , the Tea Party, and the Rich have their way.

Jeffo, don't take this personal, but I won't argue Economics with someone does not understand them, but I will be glad to give you a free lesson...yes Obama got a small mess, from Bush on a couple fronts (Spending more than you take in), however, Bush did not double our debt to 15 Trillion as Obama has proceeded to do. Stop blaming Bush for Obama's Policies. The definition of being insane is doing the same thing over and over (Obamas spending) and expecting a different outcome. You cannot SPEND your way out of a recession! The Debt is Crippling this nation.

As for CEO's moving jobs out of the country, yes they do, you know why? Because in order to compete they have to find a guy that they don't have to pay inflated wages to, to build thier product...those wages are inflated by having to pay a union that you Must Join...that is certainly not American! Sorry but no one is going to pay a guy $25 an hour to push a broom in a factory.

I am one of those middle class by the way, and the only ones driving me away are the taxes I pay so some lazy $@! can sit on his or her couch complaining about everything while collecting a welfare check! I am also Paying Taxes so someone who is too lazy to get a job (no matter what it is) can have free health care? As for the TEA Party they are exactly what I am, an average middle class Citizen who is fed up with the overspending and then blaming the american public for being too lazy as our current President has done!

And calling me Junior is typical, when your arguments fail, you go personal...I have refrained from the name calling and have simply pointed out your errors on the facts. So show a little maturity why don't ya!

Arjay, that would be EXACTLY the type of thing I was referring too! A degree in ditch digging would be worth more!

There isn't a politician intelligent enough to even begin to rewrite the Constitution. It has been amended. Not always a great thing. How about we stop pissing on it and actually reading it as it was intended. Here's a concept, how about a little personal responsibility and maybe thinking about the consequences for our actions? Our modern ideals are what's destroying the entire planet. It's funny, no one even likes to vote in our elections, would you want 30% of the population determining what goes in the Constitution for the entire population of our country?

I don't think I went into enough detail. Just wait until I can collect my thoughts enough to write a long post.
