Hi Beaubs, that's correct P-40 (supplied to us as the "Kittyyhawk") and the P-51 Mustang.

And of course the Spitfire, which IMO is the most beautiful fighter of all time.

I love planes and airshows,that P-40 is beautiful,my favorite WWII fighter...I went for ride in this WWII B-17 last year...it was fantastic,expensive but worth it to me.

Once were in the air they let us walk around inside,everywhere except the tail gun position....the plane is not as big inside as you would think and you do some crawling to get into the nose and some tight catwalks above the bombay doors.

Never been inside one but on occasions I've been on the ground with variously a B-17, a Lancaster, a Spitfire, a Hurricane and a Mustang overhead. There is something that the sound of those old engines does to the inside of your ribcage that is very unique.

They don't build 'em like they used to.
