My brother lives six hours from me...
I go over there 4-5 times a year...
I'm looking to buy an inexpensive
guitar to leave there,,, so I'll have
something to play when I visit him...

I have a Frontman 15R... It doesn't
make any difference if it's an electric,,,
or an accoustic...

Any suggestions???

Thanks,,,

maybe look into some squiers or used guitars? those would most likely give you some decent playability for not a whole lot

To play 4-5 times a year. I'd get a squire strat or tele.

The body's alder. Not bad for an inexpensive Tele. You can always score a deal on some decent pickups later to make it sound better. It didn't sound half bad when I tried one out at GC. You can't bet the look, either.

Get a Squier. If you're not sure exactly what you want go on the Squier board and ask, they're good with suggestions.

Maybe you should just by a nice hardshell case.

Thank you all for your suggestions...
I guess I was just trying to justify
buying another guitar...

My old Fender F-230 will probably do
the job... I have a cardboard case that
I paid $3.00 for from a pawn shop in
Anchorage that I could use instead of
buying a new hardshell case...

Thanks,,,
