The Siegal-Schwall Band post. Wow! Dynamite Green Onions rendition, Rollie. Thanks. Enjoyed that a lot. Especially, with the 'Now' phrasing with the harp.
Ever since I stumbled upon Koko Taylor at Bumpershoot in Seattle I have been a fan. As for the rest . . . Here's some of the best:

I'm late for the party on this one. That was a treat, Rollie. Tommy, Kenji, and Frankie were in the pocket, and a good time by all was evident. Thanks, for sharing, Bro'.

FSB

I thought I would bring something to start another party.

Cool BBQ. I caught Joey D. way back when (I was a toddler) in a cozy nightclub.

Jose was great FSB.
Playboy after dark was taped in Chicago at the original Playboy mansion located at 1340 North State Parkway.

wiki: The Chicago mansion boasted a brass plate on the door with the Latin inscription Si Non Oscillas, Noli Tintinnare ("If you don't swing, don't ring").

So, here is some blues from Chicago courtesy of Hugh and Fleetwood Mac featuring Peter Green.

Glad you enjoyed Jose, Rollie.

Your background on Playboy At Dark was appreciated. Here in Canada, although I knew of it, the program coverage was limited; but, I do know Montreal had it, and I believe some hotels. I seem to remember videos available too.

I remember being in London when Playboy opened up their club in '65. The bunnies didn't quite understand the premise, and American bunnies arrived on the scene to teach them the ways. A few years later I got invited to jam with a big band (Jan Garber) on their way to Chicago's PB mansion. One of the members lived in Butte, Montana so the bus stopped at a local establishment where I and Mrs. FSB happened upon in the wee hours during our long road trip. The band had a history from the 20s; but, these Cats deviated with their licks that night. A great unexpected time was had. Later, I met several bunnies who hopped into my workplace. So needless to say, I was a big fan of Hef's. 8) It was all about the music. So my hat goes off to another playboy:

Toby talks about his guitars during this interview, but if you fast forward to 7:25 he does a great solo version of Sonny Boy Williamson's "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl"
