Post subject: Just finished my guitar strap!

just finished stamping and burnishing my new strap.
1''x 3/16 bull hide harness leather with a tempered stainless conway buckle and dunlop strap locks :D this could tow a truck :lol:

yep :wink: the stamps are fairly cheap at the Tandy leather store. the skull stamp was about $4 and the barbed wire set was around $10. the wire print was very time consuming though :lol: everything together only cost 46 bucks and will probably last a lifetime due to the thickness :D

well i dunno about WOW because its not that difficult its just tedious. all you have to do is have to line it up and smack it :lol:

Its still cool. I figured you used some archaic carving tool. I've never seen that done before. 8)

actually the pad was robbed from the thin fender strap for now. I just cut the slots bigger and slid it on :wink: the leather piece I was going to make the pad out of was ummm ruined during the process :lol: so that part will have to be attempted again......
