It's time for a little RANT.
Just watching the local news and the story was about a bunch of farm animals that were discovered to be somewhat less than properly cared for. The story went on and on. I respect all that was said and hope for the best for them.
The next and much lesser concerned about story was about some hand out shelter for the homeless ,including homeless "VETERANS". My point is that it seems as though we care more about a bunch of chickens than we do about the folks that (GAVE THERE ALL)to save our very butt's. I think they deserve more . Sorry for the rant but DAMN. :x :x :x
----Danny,

WELCOME HOME YOU GUYS :!:

Why can't we vote the bastards out of office who allow this kind of thing to persist?

There's been enough 'wake up music' played regarding the VA, its mess of a health care system, and all the red tape vets have to cut through to make things happen. What's lacking is a movement the likes of the last veterans march on Washington back in the '30's.

Doc. Thanks for posting that article. Altho it may be sad and difficult to read about the misfortune and mistreatment of those vets. It should be required reading for all Americans. It's a real eye opener. :x

----Danny,

So I'm sitting in the car, half listening to the radio, on my way home from the railroad station, and I'm into this piece late, but I knew I could find it in print on line. I mean these people are living in their cars and we have to listen to the bullshit that comes out of the White House and the Congress about our brave men and women in service. As I said before, its cause for voting every incumbent out of office.
