Frankly, with the track record he had already set down prior to the Nelson's finding him, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had responded with something like...."Sounds like a great gig, but what about Scotty??" Don't forget 'Mystery Train" :wink:

Yep, Mr Burton was already a guitar great at 17yrs, he played on Dale Hawkin's original hit version of Susie-Q. It's Mr. Burton that created that guitar riff opening, http://youtu.be/jVyLjLJrwaQ.

I also know Mr. Burton, and have jammed with him a few times at different events.
