So, i love extreme weather events, sadly i dont get much where i am, but i love monitoring the radar to see whats coming towards us, or just whats happening aroun the country in general.
this one was taken from the adelaide radar, you cant see my town but our weather always comes from that area; it is on 128 KM diameter

if you look at the storm cell on the right side of the screen, thats the first time i've ever seen a part of a storm thats 'black' that big.usually, the black parts are litterally only a couple of pixels, but according to the measuring tool, its about 22 KM wide. unbelievable!
unfortuanetley, that particuallar storm downgraded into the 'dark red' on the rain rate scale, and right now its a bit south of us, which is a bugger.
would have been AMAZING if that had of hit my town with that amount of energy
