Murray should have got a medal. Yeah he was a scapegoat. I his later years Jackson was a waste of carbon. A talented guy for sure, a child molester? He wasn't convicted, but you'll never convince me he wasn't.

I do not think that Conrad should have been the only one that went down for this. From the incompetant nurse that should have known better, to the security detail that allowed that crap in the room, to the pharmacist that provided the medication. No one person is responsible, but he was the doctor hired to supply and order MJ with his drugs.

For every action there is a consequence. Conrad Murray has to find this out the hard way.

I can see him not being allowed to practice medicine anymore, but manslaughter? If it were anyone else that died (not famous) it probably would not go down like this. I'm sure Jackson knew what he was taking. I think the scapegoat theory is a good one. Kinda turned into a witch hunt.

A shocking disgrace that man being found guilty. An outrage in fact. He's the fall guy, the scapegoat, and now the bandwagon can really pick up about how Michael was killed by this guy. I don't believe it, i don't believe he would have done that and i feel sorry for him.

So how is this so different than Dr. Nick and Elvis? I realize that Dr. Nick was not administering a drug to be used during surgery, but still. I think Dr. Nick did lose his medical license, but he never did any jail time nor was hung before the press and public.

I try to feel sorry for him ending up as a scapegoat...BUT... I gotta say. As a trained med professional he should have seen so many signs of how things were going wrong and would probably end up badly. But it seems that instead of trying to really help MJ he just enabled him and collected some serious cash for himself.

Like so many other people around MJ, Murray used him as a personal money tree and for that I think his actions merit the conviction he got. Dr's are supposed to help and not harm aren't they?

All you have to do is watch the movie "THis is it" to see that regardless of his genius as a performer, MJ was seriously immature and depended on those around him to direct much of his life. It appears he put his trust in the wrong person in Conrad Murray and paid for it with his life.

Scapegoat for sure. If it wasn't this Dr. it would have been someone else. MJ is responsible for all of this, but those nutjobs in Cali want someone to pay for it and ONLY MJ is responsible. MJ found a Dr. (i use the term loosley here) to do EXACTLY what he wanted done. He might have been able to sleep if it wasn't for his guilty conscience about his child molesting!
