I built a 5F1 champ clone last year and I want to build something with re-verb next. but my wife insists a strict one in one out policy  so would it be worth selling? or just keep it and keep hounding her?

I love the amp but I really want to build another one :D
what do you guys think its worth, with me being a nobody engineer and all?

USA made transformers
NOS RCA 6V6GTA
NOS Harmon Kardon 5Y3GT
NOS RCA 12AX7A
Weber cab
Mojo chassis
Weber Alnico 8S speaker
NOS carbon comp resistors
all Sprague caps
point to point hand wired with period correct cloth wire.

It matches the original fender schematic very closely. I only adjusted component values to get all the tubes and transformers operating within perfect range. i also did some creative things with the grounding and shielding to eliminate some hum.

I know I wont make near what I spent since I bought everything individually. I am basically just kicking the idea around, so input would be appreciated

The easy answer.

Build a 63 Reverb unit to go with the amp. It's not an amp, so no need to get rid of the Champ. That will take a bit of explaining to wifey but she'll understand when it's all working and hooked up and she can see it.
It will feed your hunger to create.

Simple pimple.

You should see what I've got planned for a 2x12 cabinet. One side, a Watkins Clubman/ Class5 circuit. To handle mild drive.
On the other side based on a 5f1 that I'm working around it not distorting at all. Just getting that lovely compressed sound.

Both amps running into one 12" speaker each. One instrument input, ultimate channel switching.

It's something to keep me busy over the holiday season.

that sounds like a sweet project!
it also makes me wonder how the champ will react running a reverb unit into the front of it :? also how a re-verb unit would react running a fuzz or overdrive into it. I might just end up parting with it cheap so I can build a Princeton reverb clone. this time I will probably get a kit and save some money

You won't save money with a kit, you will save time.

All kit suppliers do is get the stuff in, add their profit percentage onto the cost of the parts, then sell it to you.

Do the reverb, you know you want to. Buddy Guy doesn't struggle using one with an active guitar.

One in, one out?
I can see the problem.
Have you considered getting a new wife?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
