But this is one of the most beautiful songs ever made.

They really don't make anything like they used to, music included.

+1

Here's another tight melodic ballad from the "big-hair" '80s era......

Enjoy!

I would have reserved my tears for the hair styles..

US guitar bands of the 80s have much to answer for :wink:

It's not the worst I've heard.

But if you want a beautiful song from that era, listen to Extreme's "More Than Words"

I was listening to that last night. I had a mix cd of 80s and early 90s ballads. It had White Snake, Mr.Big, Skid Row, a bunch of others.

I'll admit to being a big fan of lots of hair metal back when it was big, but the power ballad, to me, was the worst part of that whole scene.

Unless I had a date I wanted to put the moves on I would skip over those whenever possible. :lol:

This song sums up my feelings towards 80s hair metal bands doing power ballads;

It is strange, I grew up in the 80's. I went from Hair Metal to Thrash. I still like 80's Heavy Metal and Thrash. Hair bands did make a lasting impression on me; however, some of the ballads are still very beautiful. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
