For the past couple of days my wife had been in bed and wasn't feeling well at all,we attributed it to a bad flu that's going around this area now. This morning I had to practically carry her to the bathroom because she became very nauseated. She them started throwing up what looked like very black coffee and I knew right away that it was blood.I called the family doctor and he told me to get an ambulance.

They rushed her to Emerg. and after waiting there almost 8 hours they decided to admit her. They've scheduled her for an endoscopy in the morning and suspect a bleeding ulcer. That's about all she needs now combined with her chronic fatigue syndrome.Anyway we are hoping that that's all it is,considering the many other things it could be.

Sorry to hear this guitslinger. My wife just had the same procedure done this past Tuesday. I hope all works out for you and your wife. Prayers are coming from the bayou for you and your wife my friend.

Thanks for all the support guys,it really means a lot and bouys our spirits. She had the endoscopy this afternoon and was out of it when she came back due to the sedatives they gave her.Her nurse said that there's a chance that she'll be discharged tomorrow I hope so,it's pretty lonely here with just the dog and cats around-they don't talk much.

Good to know she's no more than a 24 hour stay. Just keep in mind your last remark when way down the road and all is well. We're holding you too it.

I just got back from the hospital and the Drs. decided to keep her in until they get to the bottom of it as the endoscopy came back negative and they can't figure out what's wrong.I guess that a CT scan is the next bit of business on their agenda. Thanks all for your support and concern.
