For the past couple of days my wife had been in bed and wasn't feeling well at all,we attributed it to a bad flu that's going around this area now. This morning I had to practically carry her to the bathroom because she became very nauseated. She them started throwing up what looked like very black coffee and I knew right away that it was blood.I called the family doctor and he told me to get an ambulance.

They rushed her to Emerg. and after waiting there almost 8 hours they decided to admit her. They've scheduled her for an endoscopy in the morning and suspect a bleeding ulcer. That's about all she needs now combined with her chronic fatigue syndrome.Anyway we are hoping that that's all it is,considering the many other things it could be.

I hope she feels better soon. That is a hard situation. An aggravated ulcer can certainly make blood come out of either end.

I wish your wife nothing but the best. I'm sure you both will be worrying until you get some answers. Try to stay positive and hopefully it won't be too serious.

Derek, stay cool my friend!!- I am crossing my fingers, but remember the cold can come and go for years with just a few sniffles and a day or two off work at most- and every so often there is a bad one that hits you for a home run.. I was nearly admitted into hospital 3 years ago with a raging temp and fluid in my lungs, and that was just a cold. I pray your wife will be in the best care and looked after well in hospital, and that you too- take things easy!!

Hope for the best friend and trust that your friends here are always here to chat 24/7 :) Your wife is in good hands :)

Good luck and best wishes.

I hope all will be well. I have a friend with chronic fatigue syndrome, so I know that alone is a hard enough cross to bear.

Adrian
