For a little while, at least.

The forum has just gotten boring. It has stagnated and become nothing more than derailing threads that were bad to begin with. Add on the fact that I have a rather strong dislike of several of the newer guys, and I really have no reason to keep posting here.

So, for now, I'm out. Maybe I'll be back in a month or two, maybe I won't, but for the the time being there isn't a single reason for me to keep posting here.

Without meaning to sound passive aggressive or anything; Okay.

Do what you need, come back with a fresh perspective. I'll be waiting.

No reason to leave. You could always back off and get less involved. I often wonder what happened to WayCoolJr.? He sure went cold turkey.

Well, I, for one, will miss you.

While we have had very little direct interaction, I always like reading your posts and your totally different (from mine) perspective on the various subjects here on the Forum.

I've been a bit put off by some of the trends in Forumland lately as well, but I'm hoping that we've ridden out the problems.

I hope to see you back soon. Take care...

Floyd_The_Barber has always been one of the less TOXIC folks around these parts. We need your input. Stick around, things will improve, You'll see. 8)

If you happen to see any of the other AFK forumers out there in the big wide world, be sure to ask them to check in.

Things will get better. This is a good place at its core.

Don't leave just because we seem to have an influx of cerebral Lilliputions who engage the submit button before they engage their minds. After a while of people giving them the cold shoulder or the bum's rush they'll take their venom somewhere else. You are one of our favoured younger members Floyd and I would hate to ssee you leave for this reason. Please reconsider your decision.Remember this:Life is like an elevator-it's not the ups and downs that get to you......it's the jerks.

Floyd_The_Barber, I've always thought your contribution to this Forum was very good and looked forward to reading your posts. The Forum is boring. Sorry. If you want a break hopefully it will help and then come back and the Forum will be interesting again. That no one is perfect becomes the contradiction of all good Forums. Some Forum members join and their contributions are inadvertent, some times those contributions become deliberately negative and those members illuminate the contradiction because they obviously are operating under a misconception that they are perfect. Unfortunately the undesirable ones chase some good members away before they leave themselves. For myself the only thing to do is not do anything. I found some members try to start BS and there are a few times I tried to communicate with them but to no avail as they are conflicted. Perhaps some of them will return after they have resolved their psychological incongruencies. I won't hold my breath though. They may return but will probably bring the same baggage plus more (cynicism is not one of my good points). You are always a member in good standing Floyd. Don't let those who would be looking for trouble spread the sickness.

Why are you going to leave? If you leave here you will be at another lame forum site. If that is the case you may as well stay here on this site.

Don't be a stranger, Floyd, there's still hope for good and sensible threads I think. Just let the dust settle a little. :)

Cheers
