Oh, that's what I look for in a bridge pickup. I want killer tone, not smooth tone. I don't like my sound clean shaven, for lack of better term.

also you would have to route the body cavity to add a pot in that location.

Or just wire the middle tone control as a blender pot for the neck pickup. The remaining tone as a master tone. Achieve exactly the same thing for the price of 2" of wire without altering the look of your guitar with a load of switches and pots.

That Tone Pot is now in direct line with your hand/pick movement, I don't see the necessity of complicating the control layout.
Not something i want to be fishing around with in a dimly lit venue....

Then again my preference is for one Master Volume and one Master tone ( TBX + .022 Cap ) a standard 5 way switch or a Superswitch which then gives you all the pick up combo's possible with three.
If really needing more... than a stacked humbucker with a coil switch ( push/pull Vol pot ) then it still stays simple.

The cleaner the look on a Strat, the better.

My main Strat is set up with a master tone, with the third knob set up with a 3-way rotary switch which offers a choice of two different tone caps or bypass.

Nice to have the option of rolling the tone of the bridge pickup back a bit, or go the opposite way and bypass the tone pot entirely for a bit of extra bite and level.

Works for me!

This is exactly what i've decided to do whence my new pups arrive. (will probably use the TBX Pot I have on hand for the master tone) All my research on this points to needing a no load pot for the blender. I will have to order one of these. Question is, are there any ramification if i don't use a no Load pot? At least to start with to make sure the setup works?

Happy new Year folks
