I got a BD-2 a few weeks ago and I really like it. I just bought a strat so I've been playing it through that and it sounds great. I've seen a lot of people rave about the Keeley modded version of this pedal and for 65$ I can send this pedal off and get it modded? Is it worth it? Does anyone have any experience with this or playing through a Keeley BD-2?

I've had both the Keeley and stock. The Keeley only sounded a little, and I mean a little better. It had a useless fat switch for me on it. The stock seems to work better for me. Check Youtube and there are some OD shootouts you can listen to and read the comments. You'll find I'm not alone in preferring the stock.

I had a TS9 and had ordered Keely BD, I got to play both side by side. No contest in my book I took the TS9 back. Hard to wrong with Boss, and with the Keely mod! It's great for everything except maybe metal.. Just my humble opinion, Mark
