Nice, I like both. The Strat is definitely more Hendix and gives some nice overtones. The R8 sounds great too.

Thanks Drew! Love that Les Paul you got recently as well. Would you post a demo of it? I need to redo the video. I just noticed the the sound is only coming out of the right channel. :(

bluesguitar65,

I like both guitars. Each has it's own unique voice. I love the American Special for some of it's overtones, but the Gibson has a fatter sound. I now see the improtance of owning a LP as well.

Can't wait to see the improved video.

Stupid typos!!!

Here's a link of photos and video sent to me by Larry Corsa, the guy I bought it from. That's him playing it in the video. He does photos and video of every guitar he modifies. The color of the guitar is off in the video. It won't look as red as it does in the video.

That guitar is amazing. It really has that Peter Green tone. Your are really tempting me to get one. Beautiful guitar!

That recorder is cool. I might have to get one so I can do dome better recordings. Do you run it through your computer camcorder or through a different type of camcorder to make videos? By the way, love the tone from your Strat and rig.

Ok. Here is the revised version with better audio and I have cut down the video time. What do you all think of this one?

Thanks!! With moving videos, I use the Tascam DR-40 for the audio and run it to the video camera's line in or mic input jack. On videos with still pictures like the second I posted here, I use the DR-40 stand alone and just add the audio with the slide show. Its really a great recorder, I specially like the fact you can connect two XLR mics to it if you choose to use your Shure SM57 and close miking the amp. You can also overdub what you recorded. Its also a four track recorder and you can record both the built in high quality condenser mics with the XLR mics simultaneously. So you can close mike the amp with the shure and use the built in mics for ambience. I recommend getting it.
