Fender Family History!

Today I was with my grandfather in law (I guess, not sure how in law stuff works) and we were doing some house work. I showed him my Telecaster and it turns out he had one in the same color from 1968, but he sold it so he could buy an airplane. Pretty cool stuff right there.

Excuse me but aren't you a teenager? Are you married?

You would be able to have a brother-in-law or a sister-in-law (the spouse(s) of your sibling(s)), but you can't have any other in-laws until you're married.

So how is the grandfather person related to you?

As for the story...did he have any pics or recordings of his old Tele? Was he a true player or was it just something to have, and he moved on to aircraft?

He's my uncle's (by marriage) father, so would he be my uncle too? I was just sort of confused. My family is weird. I have a cousin that is also technically my aunt. (by marriage)

I'm not sure. But yes, he's a player, he's also a tech I think.

there was a girl I went to school with that had a screwed up family structure. her mother had a twin sister and her father had a brother. her mothers sister married her fathers brother and then a few years later her father and mother got divorced. shortly after that her aunt and uncle got divorced. then her aunt married her father and her mother married her uncle :lol:

if that makes any sense :lol:

so basically her aunt is her mom and her mom is her aunt. also her father is her uncle and her uncle is now her father. :lol:

it is still confusing today :roll:

He sold the Telecaster for $100 (I'm guessing it was before they were valuable)
