A very lightweight one too - 8 grams. Tempted to get one to save my back.

I think the chances of anything on that site being genuine are about the same as me going on holiday to one of the moons of Jupiter tomorrow morning.

LOL.. Give my regards to Gannymede..

Nah, these prices are unsupportable. Stear well clear. I see the serial number on that Clapton has been blacked out..

The Photo's on the site are probably original, but the only way to get any of those guitars for the advertised price is if

(1) They are stolen and therefore black market
(2) The actual guitar you are most likely to receive will resemble but not be as a advertised.

Good Luck finding a White Falcon for under $500.00

Its a pirate company probably based in China, I would not even contact them, let alone thnk of any purchases.

However you should pass this on to the Authorities responsible for investigating internet piracy..

I found a website while surfing the web and all the guitars are like 200, 300, 400 and something dollars.

I think this site is selling fake guitars.

If you can, please look into it for me and tell me what you think.

http://www.guitarswarehouse.com/fen-art ... p-245.html

It says you can buy a Fender Eric Clapton blackie for $266?? Somethings up!

Just browse the site and look at the prices.

Let's all put money into a pot and buy one, make sure it gets sent to an expert's house, like Niki, Ceri, or Arjay. If it's real, we claim parts and part it out to all who contributed, so everybody wins. I call the bridge assembly.

maybe that advertised price is a deposit,,,,,,,,, but they don't guarantee delivery
it doesn't do any good to try to contact anyone. if the company is in china they will simply change ownership to their cousin and instantly go back into business under a new name.
where I work we have that problem constantly with patent violations. any time you report them they just move shop and keep going  its one giant headache

@Jake:If you are looking for good quality copies of American guitars try here: http://www.guitarsjapan.com these guys have copies that are so well made that some of them exceed their American counterparts for quality and some of these even cost double.Having said that you can get a great rosewood Tele or Strat copy for under $1,000 and an Orville by Gibson Les Paul for around $1,200 and a lot of these Orvilles were head and shoulders over the American made Gibsons.A lot of these Chinese guitar sellers are fly-by-night outfits that show pix of an actual Fender or Gibson but will ship (that's if they ship at all)a 3rd rate copy likely made in some hovel of a sweatshop.

Gee, since this is all being transacted over the Internet, what are the odds that the guitar you get will be anything like the one in the pic?

These guys can easily be boosting shots of real guitars from other sites (the lack of consistency in the photography makes me wonder were they came from), and then sending you bad Chinese copies, just as guitslinger says.

Makes no damn sense though you can buy this http://www.guitarswarehouse.com/1980-fen-strat-electric-guitar-p-206.html for $269 or the same guitar with OHSC http://www.guitarswarehouse.com/1980-fen-strat-electric-guitar-w-ohsc-red-p-210.html cheaper.

So what are you waiting for? You found the site, and helped advertise for them by bringing it to others' attention. Seems only fitting that you should report them. I think that most people already understand the adage about something "seeming too good to be true, probably is".
