It's cool that this forum means that much to some people, can't say I'm there yet but I do come here quite a bit. I've talked to a couple members in particular about my love of short scale basses, but I've also seen the condescension in some members because I'm a KISS fan. Not that I'm not used to that since KISS brings out nothing if not strong opinions in people.

But my musical interest doesn't stop at KISS, I love John Prine and our band plays "danceable" classic rock. My band, there's a point of contention right now. I've been playing with the same drummer for 20+ years, and now his kids are all out of high school/moved on and he found that he wanted to play out every weekend rather than the 1-2 times/month we'd been doing. So he joined another band, a local country lineup. Now that's all fine and good, I don't care if he's in two bands except now the playing every weekend has fallen to that band so there's nothing left for our group to schedule. I'm gonna have to move on but man that sucks after all these years.

Anyway, good forum here, maybe someday I'll make some connections so it becomes as personal to me too.

I'm just glad that other people have a hat they like to wear when they play. Mine is more of a jazzy style I guess. All black with a 1920's mob look. Love that hat.

And btw, the vest and hat are a good look for ya.

I tend to go with louder shirts, or my Driver jersey, go Packers!
