In the mid 60's Clarence was the band leader on a local Dallas TV show called What's Shakin'. He just ripped it up! Played electric violin too. :shock:

They used to have Dallas native Freddie King on all the time. Watching that show when I was a newbie guitar player changed my whole view of music, and that vibe is what has kept me playing since.

Ive also enjoyed him for along time. I love his fiddle playin it kinda flips some people out.

I'd opened for Mr. Brown twice back in the '80s, he was a great story teller. Here's a pic of him at the '93 Pocono Blues Fest I shot. He wanted $5 a picture, but he remembered me and didn't charge me.
