Ok I don't like how some of you voice every sentence as a question. That gets my goat a bit, but that's about the only thing.
I put it down to having to live too far away from your Queen. You're too far from home soil and it makes you unsure of everything.
That's my theory anyway.

As a matter of fact I was planning on blowing my tax rebate on a bit of a Christmas holiday in Victoria (see you just have to take em with you). But was talked out of it when my missus explained that the immigration authority would never get me back on the plane.
I'd have to appeal to the Geneva convention for trying to make me come back here. Surely it comes under cruel and unusual punishment???
Anyway I've even got my migration argument worked out. It goes that basically you lot were all the scallywags we didn't want in centuries gone by. Descendants of the scoundrels that got caught. Well that's ok, I'm a bit of a scally too from a long line of blaggards. It's only by some cruel twist of fate that non of em ever got caught and that I was born a couple of centuries too late.

And I sink loads of this stuff

Yeah not sure where that slandering Aussies comes from. I have worked with quite a few AAF C-17 maintainers and crew and every one of them were salt of the earth types. And we enjoyed more than a few Fosters everytime we got together.

Although as winter creeps closer here in the midwest, I do feel a little tinge of jealously that you are entering spring and it is WARMING there!

Fair Dinkum mate (Aussie slang).
Your plans for this Guitar change hourly.
A Bigsby, a Floyyd Rose, Telecaster brdige, install pickups, make it into a lefty.
It all sounds a bit ambitious mate. Now your going to smash it because you don't like the colour ?? Hmm, why not do something simple and creative.
Firstly, just get a classical guitar bridge and stick it on ...... DONE.

As far as the finish is concerned, here's an idea.

A - Close down your computer and go outside.
B - Spray paint the guitar in whatever random colours you like or can find. Allow to dry and do as many layers of colour as you wish.
C - Top coat generously with a can of satin black (or matt). Allow to dry.
D - Sand the guitar, revealing the lower layers of paint in areas. This is the creative part. Write on it, put stickers on, whatever.
E - Relic by sliding it down the footpath and/or throwing small stones at it. Don't be to rough on it, take your time. It could look something like this (the finish I mean).



If you restring with nylons, you'll have something to practice finger picking on, or just hang it on the wall.

Whatever you do, just do something and THEN tell us about it.
