Major power outages are expected due to the foliage still
being on the trees and heavy snow accumulating on wires.

Powerful nor’easter expected

Snowfall could reach 17 inches

"A nor’easter barreling up the Atlantic is expected to drop as much as 17 inches of snow on areas of Southern New England beginning sometime after midnight tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm will produce near-blizzard conditions, with frigid temperatures starting early tomorrow morning and continuing throughout the day.

Neal Strauss, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Taunton, said the storm will bring blowing and drifting snow with poor visibility."

I didn't want to mow the lawn anyway...
Now I just have to make sure the snow blower works and test out my generator.
Leaves are still full of leaves here in Northern Massachestnuts. With heavy wet snow it will be brutal here...

Well after 6 days of no power, we finally got back up and running last night!!

Lots of tree damage and some landed on the house.

About 12 thousand $$ worth of repairs and insurance is being cagey as to what they will repair/replace. I'll probably be dropping out of the forum for a while to do what I can on my own.

Not sure what to do other than that. May have to sell some equipment. Bummer.

Hope others fared better! Good luck to all.

Hi Tyronne, glad you're back at least for a while. We got lucky in that we were only out of power for 24 hrs., the bad part is I was stuck listening to the stuff on my wifes I-pod  . I hope your insurance company does right by you and pays up, that's why we pay them all that money we could be spending on gear 8) . Good luck.

Hoping you Bros are better, a little at least. I wouldn't look at this thread because it included the word snow. Snow. Way to early for snow.
