electrician for 19 years, other wise i'm raising a family and play music(26 yrs guitar). i figure one more year electrical trade and that might just be enough. i think i'll try something else for the next 20 then god willing retire. really am tired of sceaming at subordinates and twisting wire nuts for an ingreat company.

Branch manager for construction subcontractor.
Temporarily, involuntarily retired.

Just an average white boy until I was drafted in 1969. After Vietnam - a freakin' hippy!

Started my own woodworking business, custom furniture mostly, in 1973.

Finally cut my hair in 1977... :(

Also owned my own video store from 1984 to 1994.

Two years setting up and running a consignment warehouse in Mansfield, Texas - 1999 to 2001 - very good money, but I was working for my father, couldn't take it any more after two years. :evil:

Back to the woodworking 2001 to 2008. Then came the Great Iowa Flood. :?

Finally broke down and took a "real" job as Director of Environmental Services at a senior apartment complex - 77 units - 90 residents. Try working for old people with a lot of money. "I said, I want that job done NOW!"

Hope to get the shop up and running again (on a smaller scale) this winter and build amp cabs and speaker cabs on the side, maybe a few guitars on the side of the side.

as for retirement the way things are going, unless the obscenly greedy, power mad and crooks have a change of heart :lol: :lol: :lol: :roll: I'll be toiling and probably drop dead on the job to keep them in the luxury they no doubt think they deserve, not that I'm bitter, just getting older and even more carnaptious :wink:
