Born in 1970, Mike 07502 studied Theory of Music and Recording Engineering.
Learned the craft of Jingles and Music-to-picture.
Then got married and over 11 years gravitated towards Education and Psychology.
Have battled with Alcoholism and just last week got divorced. By the way thanks so much for the support guys, it made a huge difference! :D
Quite competent on the classical guitar, a bit erratic on the Strat but original all the same!
Great thread gang, let the good times roll...

I buy and sell jet engines and jet engine parts.
Somebody's got to do it. I've been in the aviation aftermarket for 37 yrs . . . with no end in sight.

Hey Steve, can you hook me up with a J-79GE-17B?

My old Nissan 4x4 needs a skosh more thrust!

Arjay, if you really need more power, just go with a Pratt and Whitney F-220 with thrust vectoring, then you can go fast and corner too!

Aside from playing semi-professionally and fixing up guitars my main daytime job was as an Adaptive Speciality Seating & Equipment Technician -A.S.S.E.T. I designed and fabricated speciality seating systems and wheelchair inserts for children with a myriad of physical disabilities. This also involved any other equipment that the child needed to make things easier to cope with.

My most challenging job was to make an entire wheelchair seating system and cover it with removable covers of faux sheepskin for a 2 year old burn victim. This job wasn't only difficult because of the tremendous challenge it presented but it was emotionally trying. The child's mother brought in pix of the little girl taken days before the fire and she was absolutely angelic with hair so blonde it was almost white and great big brown eyes you just knew that she would've grown up to be extremely beautiful. The child was left permanently horribly disfigured and severely brain damaged due to the massive smoke inhalation.Of course along with the heart aches the job was largely rewarding especially in cases of car accident victims who came to us on stretchers and skipped out the doors in sneakers after all their treatments.

I pictured someone in a dark basement full of bodies, smoking a cigar and playing bass, while laying on an autopsy table.

Well atm I'm working in an outdoor clothing shop selling walking boots and waterproof jackets etc. That's just a temporary thing for a little extra money though. I'm at university at the moment studying Law, so hopefully in a few years I'll be a fully listened lawyer :-)

Graphic designer, since 1971. Adjunct professor at local collages and universities from time-to-time. For the past twenty years or so I have been active in local theater, designing and fabricating stage sets. Also provide lots of gratis design to local civic and non-profit organizations. Work with a local group of folk organizing and promoting live music venues, including a free summer concert series. In my spare time, I play guitar.

Since the late 70's I was an automotive painter/bodyman. It was a rat race so I left the rats win, and walked away from it. I really liked what I was doing, but the people in the business were awfull. The last bodyshop I worked in the manager was an alcoholic, drug addicted, pervert, he was one sick piece of crap. I left there and went to work in a small cutom furniture shop in the finish room, and I could'nt be happier. Why did'nt I think of that sooner?
