Sorry to hijack your thread Bluesguy, but I figured I'd keep all the Gibson rubbish in one place. Sometimes you get lucky, today I got lucky. While researching LP's I followed a link to CV Guitars. Larry Corsa is well known and has a good reputation. He's been custom modifying LP's for many years. His website seemed dormant like it hadn't been updated in a long time. I emailed him to ask if he had any guitars available and asked a few questions. He was nice enough to reply with a fairly lengthy response to some of my questions and asked if I wanted to be added to his mailing list. He said he had two guitars available and he was planning on putting them on his site this weekend and notifying his regular customers because some had been waiting for quite some time. One of the guitars is a '07 Standard Faded that he modded for a customer and it was traded in on one of his new Corsa line guitars. Long story short, I checked his site this morning, it was listed, with shaking hands I went through the process, and bingo, I now own an '07 Standard Faded in Tobacco Burst, fully modified to his Peter Green specs that he uses. This picture is not of the guitar I'm getting but a similar one:
