I love The Smiths but really don't like all this box set cash in nonsense! It's everywhere you look nowadays re-mastered tracks from 19 canteen trotted out with so called remastered sound, usually you can never hear much difference!

Call me a cynic but i just don't like it. I saying that i have a few Smiths records on CD anyway my fave being "Hatful Of Hollow."

Johnny Marr's playing on Back To The Old House is just beautiful, and haunting, as is the whole song!

Love The Smith's, don't like the cash in.

I already have all the Smith's albums in CD format plus a couple of compilations as well as several Morrissey recordings and compilations.I just would like to have the set-which Johnny Marr had a hand in remastering-for posterity's sake.There is a comprehensive book also included in the set.

Oh i loved them back in the day and still do! let me see, i don't have all the albums but i have "The Smiths" , "Meat Is Murder", "Strangeways Here We Come", "Hatful Of Hollow"

Great band, one of my fave's of all time.

Oh! don't mind me being a cynic guitslinger! i'd like the box set too if i could get it! It's just me being a bit cynical about record companies!

I love all Johnny Marr's playing, not your typical guitar hero as in soloing but such a tasteful player who played totally for the song.

Johnny Marr is another guitarist who never got the kudos he deserves.He and Morrissey were a fabulous song writing team.I don't go for the package stuff usually but in this case I made an exception.
