Gary, there is an answer. You have to look at "operation paperclip". The whole drug thing started back then, we were played little Brother.

If I’ve learned anything in life (fat chance) . . . it’s not what you know, it’s what you don’t know and discover that I feel is the biggest lesson in one’s life and, perhaps, afterlife. A game changer so to speak, and some things should remain out of sight and/or earshot. To think that you can always make a difference with the information would be folly, Some practices and bewilderments have lasted for centuries, are here with us today in one form or another, and will continue after we are gone.

What do I know? Well, I know that Corvette is very sweet. I got to see the new Vette on our trip. A real beauty that GM did a great job on.

Also, I wouldn’t turn down that hot Mustang Bullit knowing that Ford’s pony cars have kept and/or returned their tradition in fine form these past few years.

Thanks, for the post and the envy SBLS.

Well, probably chocolate. It's weird, I wasn't too big on it as a kid, but there's been times I wish I could just have one of those big bags or boxes of chocolates for dinner. I won't do it, because it would probably make me sick, and a lot of sugar, plus who knows how many calories that would be to have to burn off, but still...

 Other than authentic Chicken Mole I never thought of having chocolate for a meal. Okay, maybe junk cereal for breakie; but, I’m wid you, Paul. I suppose that’s why they deem chocolate as sinful. When my brother and I were kids we got into Mom’s Baking chocolate. It was bitter (who would do that to a kid?) but better than none. Here we thought, “Aw, just a little and she won’t know. It’s in the cupboard so it’s game territory”. That’s until we were informed that she needed measured amounts for cooking and some went mysteriously missing.
Personally, I like French and German chocolate, and of course Belgian. I worked with a fella that delivered slabs to Chefs, and they always preferred Swiss, but as much as I like it, I think mass distribution overrates it. Dad would supplement our chocolate from his travels from the Far East and other trips. There they cover everything with chocolate like they do here, but you have to be careful because there are some weird combos in those wrappers and boxes.

Yesterday, in the airport, I saw red licorice Twisters for sale. Orange chocolate is a fave as many here know, but so is Orange brandy filling. and Cherry with brandy. I used to like Cherry Blossoms, but they’ve changed over the years, and I prefer the runny liquid but not so much the sugar overdose white cream. Mint chocolate and box chocolate has a spot reserved as does chocolate covered salty popcorn. What I don’t like is the crap chocolate like with some Easter bunnies or eggs. Not all is bad, some is terrific, but some is criminal. There’s always Peanut butter cups and humongous choices of ice cream and gelato . :P
Dang! You had to bring up chocolate, Paul.
Take away my chocolate or ice cream and it’s war. Okay, maybe not that bad, but DEFCON 2. :x

What’s with chocolate raisins? I remember chocolate all over the hands, face, and furniture. That doesn’t happen with those little retarded grapes anymore. What’s the fun in that? Gawd, I’m old. :?

Jello brand banana bread pudding cups, small enough for me to handle and quite tasty.

Early Bon Jovi when Sambora was in the band. Good playing and singing!

I don’t know if they have that here in Canada, sfceric64. Sounds kinda good.

Pudding in a cup: (sometimes called cake in a mug). When I was a kid Monarch made these self rising goodies in Chocolate, Apple, and Caramel (or perhaps butterscotch). When I began living on my own with shift work I found them to be an easy peasy treat stocked away in the cupboard to grab anytime. Today, not only do many companies make them, but there are so many varieties. I like the gooey ones, and the Net has plenty of recipes to add yummy things to them. Saw a recipe to turn that plain chocolate mix into orange chocolate. Mmmm.

They even have sinful volcano pudding cake. :P

Thank goodness I have a bigger mug so I can double up.

Now I feel poor. Thanks, SBLS. I want it. All I have to do is get someone to buy my Gulfstream. :P
My new guilty pleasure is Praline Pecans from Costco . Bad for the teeth, bad for the weight, awesome for that warm and fuzzy feeling. A sweet addiction. :)

Say it isn’t so. “It isn’t so”.

I lied.

My dad always said, “You can dress up a pig, but underneath it’s still a pig . . . or a slot car”.
