Techno music. Specifically older European techno music. I love listening to Kraftwerk and playing around with synthesizers. I record a track or two per year when I have time. But it's all very un-blues guitarist like of me, so I generally don't tell people about it.

I also listen to more Hank Williams and old-timey country music than I'd care to admit, but at least that's more Texan of me. But I also don't tell people about that because I have a history of railing on country music. My friends would be very surprised.

I'm was never a comic book reader (even as a kid), but I love comic book movies, like X-Men, Batman, the current crop of Avengers movies (Thor, Ironman, Hulk, etc.)...
I even liked X-Men Origins: Wolverine (the one that was lambasted by so many people).

Both Marvel and DC/Warner have put out some pretty decent animated films along these lines recently.

I didn't particularly like Spiderman or it's sequels...but I think that has more to do with Tobey MacGuire than the character (after Cider House Rules, I'll always see him as a young fake doctor at a New England orphanage).

What's your guilty/stupid pleasure?

Great thread Matt.
Musically it would be The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. I saw them at the first Knebworth festival in '74. Not one to spread rumors but this one's to good not to share. When the Doobie Brothers got to the festival SAHB had taken their trailer. When SAHB was told of the mix-up they said "we'll fight them for the trailer with knives". The Doobie Brothers asked management for another trailer. This may sound mean but that is punk. enjoy:

You know, I dig the metal type guitars, too. Jacksons usually have pretty fast necks on them. I don't play metal, that's really the reason I don't have any. Maybe I shouldn't give a crap and not worry about it.

Hey, Rollie:
Maybe, you could take the white Jackson to a smokey bar to get that tobacco stain. That way you can have both.

I used to collect tube radios from the '30s, '40s and '50s, and got cured of that, but now I could easily get hooked on cheesy "TV lamps" as they used to be called. Fortunately, they're not that easy to come by where I live.
My wife did find one exactly like this Parrot lamp though:

I have a black ceramic panther too, but it's not a lamp.

I can stop any time. Sure.

Currently, it's Schlitz beer with the original 60's formula. "Go For The Gusto." :P

Jelly Bellys, chocolate raisins, and/or potato chips. I can never eat just one, and it seems that each bag is emptied after the first taste. Once in a while I get lucky and find a jelly belly or a raisin that got away and rolled onto the floor, only to be found days later, and then I put it out of its misery.

Chex Mix is pretty good, too. Especially, the chocolate stuff. That and chocolate Bugles. I think those were designed for women for that certain time of the month, at least according to my significant other. :P

You had me and the wife in stitches Paul. That was hilarious.   On a serious note . . . We haven't run across the chocolate versions of either, but I can see where a bag wouldn't last long. Thanks for getting us ROTFL.

Cheers!
