I'm not proud of this, but neither am I ashamed...

I'm was never a comic book reader (even as a kid), but I love comic book movies, like X-Men, Batman, the current crop of Avengers movies (Thor, Ironman, Hulk, etc.)...
I even liked X-Men Origins: Wolverine (the one that was lambasted by so many people).

Both Marvel and DC/Warner have put out some pretty decent animated films along these lines recently.

I didn't particularly like Spiderman or it's sequels...but I think that has more to do with Tobey MacGuire than the character (after Cider House Rules, I'll always see him as a young fake doctor at a New England orphanage).

What's your guilty/stupid pleasure?

Mexican Horror movies. (In Black and White) No-one does atmospherics as well, except perhaps German silent films.

Jersey Shore.....

Not to mention my favorite show for the last 12 years has been Judge Judy....

For some reason my tv shows either need to be high in the intellectual scale ( I love the travel shows on discovery and PBS), or very low on the brainless scale....

Oh, some more : Jackass, beavis and butthead, tom green show, buzzkill etc...

Journey.

If I'm cruising through the radio dial and catch a Journey song — any Journey song — I always stop and listen. This music, cheesy as it may be, reminds me of so many things from my youth that it's impossible for me NOT to stop and listen to it. Occasionally, I'll whip out the “Best Of” CD and pop it in, but it's certainly not something I'd do with passengers in the car.

Not sure this is a "guilty" pleasure... even some the biggest guitar/rock snobs regard journey as a truly talented rock band... Perry's vocals and Schon's guitar work... good stuff....

You can think of something more guilty than that

btw, I am a big Journey fan too...

Chicken-in-a-Biskit crackers, a new can of Easy-Cheese and any good thriller dealing with violence and revenge. Maybe throw in some good salami on football Sundays. :D

Die-cast car models from the Franklin and Danbury mints.

MY guilty pleasure is a mountain of vanilla ice cream topped off with a huge pile of thawed out frozen raspberries-sometimes I'll forego supper to have that.@ Ollyclam RE Risk:When I was in Uni I was the undefeated champ of our informal Risk club-I was ruthless-not bad for a devout pacifist.
BTW like Arjay I have a guilty pleasure of collecting die-cast models-mostly from The National Car Museum in Canada which gets its models from Franklin and Danbury mints. My main focus is classics from the 30s and 40s with Packards being my favourites.

You'd never figure it out from my user name, but I am a HARDCORE Star Wars fan and collector. I have over 200 figures mint in packages, lots of ships, playsets, loose figures, t-shirts, magazines, books, posters, stand up displays. I have 8 lightsabers and a Jedi Costume.
I have the movies on pan and scan VHS, Special Edition VHS, Special Edition DVD, Special Edition DVD with original unedited trilogy as the special feature and blu ray. I own the Droids and Ewoks cartoons from the 80's on VHS and DVD and all of the new animated series on DVD that have come out in the past few years. I might as well give my ATM pin number to George Lucas.
