As I was checking this out this morning. I couldn't help but notice that both Clapton and Bonamassa were smiling at one another. It was as if they were saying we nailed it man. You check it out. Hope you enjoy 8) 8)

They both looked to be enjoying themselves immensely

Cheers Danny.

Clapton has done a lot behind the scenes to promote Bonamassa here. Got him his first TV spot; bigged him up in interviews; shown up at his gigs; etc etc. Eric likes Joe's playing a lot.

In turn, Bonamassa is a huge fanboy with an accute sense of rock history. So many famous shows have happened on that stage, not least Cream's farewell gig, all those decades ago. According to Joe there was only one thing in his life that could be better than playing the Albert Hall and that would be doing it with Clapton standing beside him.

It was a big night for Bonamassa, no doubt about that. I saw him again a couple of nights ago and he's still talking about it!

Cheers - C

Both of them looked to be really enjoying themselves for sure. I think maybe Clapton sees a bit of himself in JB. JB has some real fire in his playing and a very good Les Paul tone (not as easy to get as everyone thinks), and the kid seems to know sometimes its not what you play but what you don't. Fantastic seeing these two together, would be great to hear a whole show with the two of them.

Thanks for sharing.

Bonamassa is really blossoming as a player. Does anyone remember the TV program about him when he was really young and taking lessons at the feet of the great Danny Gatton?

Danny was a massive influence on him too. 8)

I think Joe was only about 12 then and already showing signs of greatness. 8)
