OK, so it's prolly a band that formed back in the day when they only released singles instead of albums. I'll take a stab at it. Pink Floyd. They released an album called Relics a number of years ago that was a compilation of their early singles, many that never got onto an album. I may not be right but I bet I'm on the right track.

Death formed 1971 First record was 2009 "For the Whole World to See". To be fair they did lay down from tracks in the mid 70's

Just listened to "Politicians in My Eyes"

I can't believe that was recorded in 1973...that could be something The Black Keys or some similar band recorded yesterday...
