Hi Mike: I've experienced this situation from the ten year old's point of view. I wish all of you luck, calm, insight and strength.

Cheers - C

Will sign my divorce settlement in front of the judge.
And feeling pretty damn scared and lonesome.

I hear you Mike. I have been feelong the same way since August when my wife of 17 years decided "she didn't love me anymore." Scared and lonely, pretty crappy alright. At least I see my son - just half the time I am used to!

I am so sorry for you.

Gridlok

PS - To the rest of you guys/gals, that's why I haven't been around. Sigh....

Oh wow, Gridlok; I am so sorry to hear about that. If it's any use at all to know that people out here in cyberspace are saddened by that news and wish you very well - then you've got it. Find strength.

And you are very welcome to hit that PM button if it's helpful. Anytime.

Best to you - C

Fully understand that feeling of isolation and the inability or rather the wish not to communicate.

Don't let it be that way mate. Same goes from me. Contact me any time you wish.

I know how terrible this feels, considering my parents are divorced. It's so much tougher than it seems in movies/television.
