As a ridiculous tribute to any of my fallen brethren on the side of the road (ie, dead armadillos), I turn off the radio, put my hand over my heart and bow my head slightly...it freaks Lady Armadillo out; she says, "Would you stop that? I think you're having a heart attack or something!"

Which of course, made Armadillo 'Tween join in the fun. Later that week we had three kids (friends of A'T) in the car who all fell dead silent, bowed their heads with a hand over the heart each time they noticed another casualty for the entirety of a eighty mile trip...it's wonderful when you're able to recruit others to give your wife a hard time. :P
