A '54 Strat?

No chance. I'd never know a minutes peace. Could never take it out live or even play the damn thing - unless you wanted to live in the bank vault with it.

Chances are it'll be on it's last legs and have more issues than Fenderguy..

A new one will do me just fine ta.

I think we need to give the OP some sort of annual award... something like Bovine Scatologist of the year  . He is good for entertainment value on a slow day, I love when he makes a complete $@! out of himself with his outrageous statements. The best we can hope for is that he gets married and has kids just like him  .

I hate the Rolling Stones and I want to make things acute.

Careful what you wish for OP......

But you're young enough to take one of those Squier's, lock it in it's case, lock it in a closet, give the key to your mummie for the next 40 or so years and you'll have a righteous vintage guitar...Who knows it may be worth tens of thousands then....or be worthless..

All you need is patience......Hmmm....On second thought....That may perhaps be a difficult concept.

He should learn how to swim out of his family's gene pool.
