Some people just never learn. I'm allowed electronics during lunch, guitars and amps included. I'll buy one of those mini Vox amps and tell a few guitar junkies I know to get one too. We're also aloud to sit outside, so we could go sit on the rock or on the school patio and play. Maybe he should move to a school like that, but not mine.

This thread perfectly reflects as to the one reason I'm glad we didn't have access to a PC and the Net when I was in school...

You lucky boy. I was at an estate sale and there was a Jaguar for $2,800. I want it as my first car SO BAD. It needed some maintenance, but my dad taught me how to work on cars and such. The guy selling it was a cut up and would have probably slashed the price for me (another cut up) *walks up to seller* Seller: "You look like you could use a Jaguar like that one right over there." *points* Me: "You look like you could give it to me for free." Both of us: *laugh*

Not sure about a Jag...maintenance seems to be a great pita...I like the looks but I don't think the mechanicals are up to par....
I'll keep my Avant.... :)

Just realized my spelling error on my last post. But, I'd love to call my dad and tell him I bought my first car. Then he'd probably ask for a pic and I'd send him a pic of a Jag and he'd freak. It was jet black (and rust free) with tan interior. The back seat was unused and the original owner put seat covers on the front seats, apparently for the whole time he owned it. Some of the chrome in the dash was tarnished and the switch for the passenger seat adjustment was removed because the switch had worn out. The wiring was still in amazing condition though. The chrome stuff would have been easy to repair and the switch would probably be no more than $20 on eBay. I would really love $2,800 to magically appear.

It sincerely bothers me that you're a year younger than me, but old enough to drive where you live.

I'm not old enough to drive. I just want to have a car set aside for when I am. Also, if it needs maintenance, I can have something to do. Plus, my mom really liked it, so she'd probably drive it until I get my license.

Ask him if you can buy it.

Get the money by stealing the grills off moving cars.
