I am trying the search feature but it is giving me a headache........

this hot rod is my first nitro neck and I know they are sticky for a year or so until it fully cures. but whats the best thing to clean it off with? I wipe it with a cotton rag and it loses the tackiness for a few minutes but then after that my hand starts to drag more and more until I wipe it again. I know this will go away over time but i do not want to apply anything that will make it worse. my hands are clean but as I play I am getting the little tiny rolls of gunk on the neck like my hands are dirty. its kinda like the finish is rubbing off
some suggestions will be appreciated.

The neck isn't cellulose, it's urethane. Only the body is cellulose.

Best thing is just to play it, then wipe it down with a clean rag. Keep doing that and it will be right within a couple of weeks to a month.

I always rub mine down with a 3M finishing pad that's like a real light type of sand paper,it's a white pad...it removes some of the finish, but not alot at a time....you might want to do that or not, otherwise just wipe it with a microfiber cloth often...I can't stand the tackiness.

I stand corrected. That has definitely changed since I bought mine. That was just listed as satin back finish on neck. Mine is definitely urethane.

Note also on your guitars spec sheet it says that you have a gloss front to the neck. Is that true? They've clear coated the fretboard?
Never seen that on a Fender guitar. Only a Ricenbacker. Something I think to be a very worthwhile amendment.

just the face of the headstock is gloss, the rosewood is still unfinished like normal and the rest of the neck is satin. I left it lying out face down on my bed today I may just do that for a while first and see if the neck just needs more time to air cure. the case smelled heavily of lacquer inside
