I'm not sure what we will do,but our gig that weekend is on the 29th,that's the 40th anniversary of Duane Allman's death,we will be doing quite a few Allman Brothers songs.

Wish we could play one this year. But since our drummer had an accident with his Harley about 3 wks ago we're on hiatus. We played with a fill in last weekend for a wedding gig that we didn't want to back out of and upset their big day, it went well. Two others were rescheduled and New Year's will be the next time we play out.

But in the past we've played the theme to the Munsters at an appropriate time when the dance floor is already full after another song, always goes well.

Kind of obvious one but fun anyway :D

"Monster Mash," for the neighborhood kids, outdoors, if it's not pouring rain or so damn cold that my hands freeze up. It got "winter" here, all the sudden.

A good Halloween set: First song is the pretty innocent "SPOOKY" which sets the crowd up for "THE KILL" so to speak. We start with the Classics IV version and turn it around to Atlanta Rhythm Section version at the instrumental break with the key change, a long sax solo jam and then go into pretty much straight covers of "I PUT A SPELL ON YOU" by Screaming Jay Hawkins, "WITCHY WOMAN" by the Eagles (we do lots of Eagles songs), "HAUNTED HOUSE" by Jumpin' Gene Simmons, "GHOSTBUSTERS" by Ray Parker, Jr., "WEREWOLFS OF LONDON" by Warren Zevon, "WITCH QUEEN OF NEW ORLEANS" by Redbone, next we play the INTRO ONLY to "THRILLER" by Michael Jackson and then switch over to "I'M YOUR BOOGEYMAN" by K.C. & The Sunshine Band and end it with "THE TIME WARP" by the Rocky Horror cast, We probably should add "MONSTER MASH" but nobody wants to do the Boris Karloff part.

HaleAmano will be playing in San Diego at Sound Wave, then a private backyard party for Fieldy from Korn the next night. Pretty cool little Halloween weekend for us.
